So for earning Bobcat I try to make it a game,
First we do the oath and law at every meeting one, either opening or closing.
Then we quickly go over all the info for bob cat,
Then I teach them about bobcat tag
Basically it's Freeze tag, but instead of freezing, you run to your parent and tell then one of the
Bobcat requirements.
Since the parents don't know them either I made a cheat sheet, I print them out and hand one to each parent.
Play this as your game at 1 or two meetings, review the meanings of the oath and law, and bobcat is done and the kids felt like ti was just a game 90% of the time.
Classic.
Alternately you can take the Scout Skills Relay games, and instead of a Race, do them as a cooperative activity, or worksheet.
The child abuse thing is supposed to be done parent scout one on one, so I assign it as homework.
