Webelos/AOL Elective Adventure: Build My Own Hero
Do all of these:- Discover what it means to be a hero. Invite a local hero to meet with your den.
- Identify how citizens can be heroes in their communities.
- Help Others
- Pick up litter
- Stand up for other kids who are being bullied
- Recognize a hero in your community by presenting him or her with a "My Hero Award."
- Why not have the kids use crayons to make a "my hero" award for their parents/family member?
- Print out a coloring sheet and have them color it and add names?

- Here is a pre colored on you can print out
- Learn about a real-life hero from another part of the world who has helped the world be a better place.
- Biographies for kids, Pick a handful you see as heroes, print them out and have the boys each pick one, read it and then tell you a couple cool things they learned.
- Learn about a Scout hero.
- History of Lord Baden Powell, the man you accidentally invented boy scouting.
- Create your own superhero.
