Summer Camp Packing lists

I'm making this stub post to keep all the

summer camp packing list info for troop 4277, but its useful for other summer camps as a base.
just remember to adjust it for you weather as this is for a hot humid part of Texas.

Tarps
8x8 or 10x10 for the floor., keeps heat in in winter and bugs out in summer (in summer the flaps are open, but bugs can come up under the mosquito netting)

15x11 for the outside if we need it.(roof not water proof)

Lost Pines Email with Links

This is a blatant re-use of last year's email, but all still good information for new Lost Pines attendees.  We will have a Lost Pines packing meeting on Thursday night, but I wanted to get ya'll the details so you could start planning now.

I've attached a Lost Pines gear list and links to the needed footlocker, cot and mosquito net. I'd pick these up soon before others start thinking about camp!

Other cots and trunks will work, but the Contico trunk and a sturdy cot that packs in a bag are good investments.  Make sure and get the full cot mosquito net and not a small one that just covers part of the cot. We will talk more at our parent meeting!

Also remember that we need a full A,B and C med form signed by a Dr. within the last year for everyone, adults included!  Please attach a font/back copy of your insurance card to the signed form.

I found this picture on the Web and it is a good idea of how our tents will look:
